A
period of growth when I was becoming, slowly but surely, an active democratic
human being.
We Are Guilty
I saw the eyes of this man
on TV,
he was preparing to die
with dignity.
I saw his eyes, he was
looking at me
He was telling the
world :
you look at us die, you
look at us die.
Jesus man it's so fucken
real !
I saw the eyes of this man
on TV,
but he was just one of so
many.
We are guilty !
We are guilty !
We did nothing ! We watched them die !
I know it inside !!!
That beyond my pain there
is one truth,
I do nothing. I do
nothing.
I'm a fucken loser wasting
my time.
Raised in the land of
indifference or of apathy
We are liars, pretending
to live
I don't want to be like
this
Am I another coward ?
I want to be a man of
courage, a man of knowledge
I want to lift my head and
breath
Breaking through this
foolish fear and pride...
Rising to meet the
truth...
My dreams are the past
'cause now I'm gona kick
ass
I'm gona stare myself down
My soul will scream
I will exist.
