If you use a whole verse, it would be kind to mention the author :o)

One Day We Will Connect

And here I am in this utter strangeness,

of a world quite queer where truth is veiled,

by little games, by useless action, by meaningless methods,

by the lies we tell ourselves.

I seek meaning, I seek my center,

my inner truths of body and soul.

I feel fine when I run away from our banalities,

and one day maybe I’ll feel your touch.

One day we will connect and come to each others aid.
